2nd Annual Blackberry Cobbler Festival Weekend

On August 28, 2021 the Cobb Area Council has partnered with the Seigler Springs Community Redevelopment Association to present the Second Blackberry COBBler Festival. The event will be held a the Whispering Pines Resort on Cobb from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. This festival is part of a larger plan created by the Economic Development Committee of the Cobb Area Council as a way to bring more visitors to the Cobb Area to help stimulate growth and to support our local businesses.
The event will feature live music, food, beer and wine, artisan vendors and a kids area. Home bakers are encouraged to enter the Blackberry Cobbler contest for a chance at a first prize ribbon! All blackberry cobbler entries are to be submitted from 11:00 till 12:30. Judging begins at 12:45 and the winner will be announced at 3:00.
All parking will be off-site at the Strickler Meadow on Gifford Springs Road. Follow the signs to enter the parking area and then a shuttle will take all guests to the event. No parking will be allowed at the Whispering Pines Resort. Please watch for slow traffic on Highway 175 as you turn onto Gifford Springs Road.
